One of the most common reasons for not eating healthy is not having enough time to prepare a meal. Well I don’t accept that
You just have to be smart about it and plan ahead but you don’t have to go all out Martha Stewart style.
Just keep it simple and fun. One of the easiest ways to cook an amazing meal is to use a crock pot.
And the best thing about using a crock pot is that you can throw the ingredients in, turn it on, forget about it, and hours later you get an amazing hot (& hopefully yummy) meal! It makes the house smell sooooo good all day long which is a good thing for you but probably a bad thing for the dogs who might go crazy smelling it and not getting a sample.
(And yes we give our dogs bones from the butcher – they LOVE them!)
So here is one of our favorite crock pot recipes:
Crock Pot Chicken
- Chicken (Boneless, Skinless or with Bone and with Skin – it doesn’t matter)
- Salsa (Around 10-12 ounces)
- A Crock Pot (duh)
Place the chicken in the crock pot. (It can be frozen or thawed – it doesn’t matter).
Cover the crock pot, turn it on. Let it cook for a few hours. Usually I do this in the morning so it can cook all day.
The meat will be falling off the bone – YUM! Enjoy!
Now if that’s not one of the easiest, healthiest meals you could ever make I don’t know what else to suggest. So remember: set it and forget it!
Opps, I think that was this guy’s saying:
